According to Ayurveda, Sattva is the natural state of clarity, harmony, and balanced awareness that allows us to perceive accurately, respond wisely, and live with greater resilience. Rather than adding more to the mind, this tradition teaches us how to remove what obscures our innate wisdom.
This four-week immersive series explores the principles of Sattva and the timeless practice of Satvavajaya Chikitsa—Ayurveda's approach to restoring mental and emotional balance through awareness, discernment, and intentional living.
Drawing from classical Ayurveda, Yoga philosophy, contemplative practice, and contemporary understanding of nervous system regulation, each session offers a practical framework for cultivating steadiness amid the demands of modern life.
Together we will explore how habitual patterns of perception shape our experience, how reactivity develops, and how clarity can be restored through conscious practice.
Over four weeks, you will discover:
The nature of Sattva and its role in health, resilience, and longevity
The sources of mental disturbance and how they influence perception and behavior
The foundations of Satvavajaya Chikitsa as a pathway toward greater mental steadiness
Practical methods for cultivating discernment (viveka), emotional regulation, and wise action
Daily practices that support greater clarity, presence, and inner coherence
