Ayurvedic Health Counselor Preceptorship

Refine your counselor toolkit, develop lasting skills, and gain expertise under the guidance of a Preceptor.

Acquire Hands-On Experience.

The KV Institute of Health & Wellness Clinical Preceptorship Program is designed to deliver clinical learning experience for graduates or students currently enrolled in Ayurveda Health Counselor (AHC) programs. As a vital component essential for graduation or continued education, the clinical practicum prepares students for professional achievements within the holistic care field.

Throughout the preceptorship, students can collaborate closely with our lead practitioner, Kim Valeri Povey, who offers supervised guidance and mentorship. This close partnership ensures that students develop the clinical knowledge and assessment skills necessary to deliver exceptional health care and succeed professionally.

Clinical practicums play a pivotal role in education as a crucial link between theoretical learning and real-world healthcare situations. These immersive experiences enable students to apply their academic knowledge in practical settings, gaining hands-on experience and honing clinical skills.

The KV Institute Clinical Preceptorship Program provides AHC/AP students with invaluable experiential learning opportunities. Beyond mere practical training, the program allows students to glean insights from experienced practitioners while equipping them with the essential skills needed to thrive in the burgeoning field of Ayurveda holistic healthcare.
