Anatomy & Physiology     

These courses can be taken entirely online in two ways:

  1. Self-paced: must be completed in 3 months (no extensions) or

  2. Instructor-paced: 6 weeks cohort-based. These classes are recorded online with access to the Instructor who will help you to pace your work to complete the course in 6 weeks.

Upon enrollment, you will receive a separate email with an access code and instructions on how to access your courses.

For NAMACB Anatomy and Physiology Board Exam requirements. You need accumulative credits outlined below.

  • 4 credits for the AHC level

  • 2 additional credits for a total of 6 accumulative credits for the AP level

NOTE: Each class below is 2 credits. A completion certificate is provided at the end of the course outlining the following:

  • 24 direct curricular hours

  • 66 student coursework hours for a total of 90 credit hours

Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) Level

  • Anatomy & Physiology I

    Human Anatomy and Physiology I focuses on the structure and function of the human body. In this course, we will examine how your body is organized, its basic chemistry, the human cell, cancer, heredity, and the anatomy and physiology of your body's organ systems.

  • Medical Terminology I

    The Medical Terminology course will teach you to understand medical terminology as it pertains to each body system.

Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP) Level

  • Anatomy & Physiology II

    Gain an even greater knowledge of the human body in the Human Anatomy and Physiology II course. You will learn the basic characteristics of the four main types of tissues, the general and special senses, cellular metabolism, body chemistry, and significant events in the life span, from fertilization through old age.

  • Medical Terminology I

    We recommend Medical Terminology I as an optional course if not taken at the AHC level.

Ayurvedic Doctor (AD) Level

  • Medical Terminology II

    Learn medical terminology related to all 11 of the body's organ systems, and review different diagnostic and treatment procedures for each system.
